TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 11, 2018 Tapestry Solutions, a subsidiary of Boeing (NYSE: BA), has unveiled its Enterprise Sensor Integration software system at BAE Systems Nashua, New Hampshire, facility, as part of the U.K.-based firms efforts to modernize its manufacturing operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Boeing said Monday the ESI software is designed to integrate the capabilities of myriad sensor technologies that track, monitor and control assets and workflow processes as well as combine smart internet of things devices into a unified, interactive network.
The installation involved the integration of Boeings Impinj Speedway radio frequency identification readers, Mojix STAR wide-area RFID sensors and other enterprise resource planning and asset management or ordering systems.
