AECOM announced Wednesday it will partner with IFS to strengthen its supply chain using the latters IFS Applications, a software suite for critical business processes such as supply chain management, predictive maintenance and digital transformation.
The integrated application suite will expand AECOMs service offerings, increase efficiency, reduce manual processes, and provide better value to customers including the Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Energy, NASA and commercial clients, the Germanton, Md.-based company said.
Through the implementation of dynamic supply-chain technology, AECOM will help our clients achieve performance excellence and maximize their opportunities, commented John Vollmer, president of the companys management services group and a 2018 Wash100 winner.
Our clients will realize increased value and savings through robust automation, significantly improved response times, reductions in inventory levels and planned on-time deliveries, he added.
