TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 3, 2018 Mitre is looking to collaborate with cybersecurity vendors to test commercial endpoint detection and response technology against its ATT&CK knowledge base of crowdsourced cyber threat tactics and techniques, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The nonprofit research and development firm said Thursday it will provide the EDR product evaluations as a service to interested parties and release the findings in an effort to build on the post-exploit cybersecurity capabilities of the overall industry.
Mitre will accept applications from vendors for the first round of assessments through April 13.
