TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 29, 2018 AT&T (NYSE: T) and the First Responder Network Authority have unveiled the FirstNet network core designed as a specialized system to support first responders communication needs, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the network core infrastructure will work to give first responders access to FirstNets mission-critical services, including First Priority service, the Incident Management Portal, z-Axis location-based services and push-to-talk communications.
The network core, which will serve as an exclusive national broadband network for the first responder community, will also help facilitate data transmission for public safety operations.
