TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 28, 2018 The Department of the Navy has awarded Peraton a potential five-year, $40.97 million contract to help the service branchs explosive ordnance disposal program management office locate, identify and remove unexploded underwater and ground ordnance, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said March 21 the contract is its 10th consecutive agreement since 1983 for EOD services in support of the joint EOD community.
Peraton works with the Defense Department to detect, locate, remove and neutralize unexploded ordnance that threaten the U.S. military and civilians, said Gus Bontzos, president of Peratons defense and electronic warfare sector.
