TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 16, 2018 CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) has secured initial clearance to sell certain Albuquerque, New Mexico-based fiber network assets of recently acquired Level 3 Communications to Unite Private Networks following a review by the Justice Department, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The Federal Communications Commission and other government agencies are also anticipated to provide approval for the proposed sale of network assets, which is part of an agreement CenturyLink had with the Justice Department in line with the Level 3 acquisition, the communications provider said Wednesday.
