TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 6, 2018 Inmarsat will collaborate with an Australian government-run air navigation service company in a project to explore satellite voice communications systems for air traffic management support in environments with degraded voice communications coverage, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
Inmarsat said Monday it will work alongside Airservices Australia to assess “SatVoice” systems for air traffic services beyond the reach of very-high-frequency transmissions in efforts to facilitate aviation safety and utilize digital technologies.
