By Light Professional IT Services has agreed to merge with internal service provider Axom Technologies in a push to expand the delivery of information technology services to intelligence and defense communities.
Our merger with Axom represents a significant milestone in the achievement of our vision to strengthen our services offerings, expand our client base, and provide additional professional growth opportunities for our employees, said Bob Donahue, By Light CEO and founder, said in a statement published Tuesday.
By Light will run Axom as a separate division and as a wholly owned subsidiary as part of the merger.
Arlington, Virginia-based By Light provides hardware, software engineering and professional services to commercial, defense and civilian customers and is supported by New York City-based private equity firm Sagewind Capital.
