TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 22, 2018 Boeing (NYSE: BA) will work with Switzerland-based technology company Oerlikon on a project to develop standard 3D printing processes and materials using metal, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The partnership aims to create standard titanium additive manufacturing methods and qualify suppliers that produce the metallic components in line with Defense Department and Federal Aviation Administration requirements, Boeing said Tuesday.
