TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 13, 2018 BAE Systems has teamed with Harris (NYSE: HRS) and MBDA‘s U.K. business to perform ground-based tests on aircraft payload bays for weapons, fuel tanks and other equipment, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The tests were held at the BAE site in Warton, Lancashire, and sought to check the design of payload bays that work to release stores from an aircraft at high subsonic speeds without risking damage to both the aircraft and the store, the company said Thursday.
