TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 31, 2018 Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) HorizonX ventures unit has placed an investment with California-based startup Cuberg for further development of the latter’s battery cell technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Cuberg designed the battery with a lithium metal anode, a high-voltage cathode and proprietary electrolyte to deliver high energy density and thermal durability for potential applications in the industrial and aerospace sectors, Boeing said Monday.
