TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 31, 2018 IBM (NYSE: IBM) is scheduled to deliver a neuromorphic supercomputer to the U.S. Air Force in the summer to support the Air Force Research Laboratory’s work in deep neural network learning and information discovery, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Signal Magazine reported Monday that the supercomputing system will feature IBM’s TrueNorth neurosynaptic system to provide pattern recognition and sensory processing capabilities and facilitate potential applications in mobile, embedded and autonomous platforms.
