Bill Varner
Bill Varner, former group president at ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) and a four-decade industry veteran, has joined the board of directors of analytics technology company Novetta.
Varner has nearly 40 years of cybersecurity, enterprise information technology operations and mission support, specialized system engineering and full-service security experience in the defense and intelligence sector, Novetta said Monday.
“Bill is a respected executive in the national security space,” said Novetta CEO Tiffanny Gates.
“We will greatly benefit from his deep knowledge of the industry as well as his proven successes in M&A and long-term growth,” Gates added.
Varner has led ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group for eight years after he previously spent three decades at TASC, where he previously worked as vice president for intelligence operations business.
He is also a member of the Virginia Tech Applied Research Corp.‘s board of directors and the George Washington University National Advisory Council.
