TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 17, 2018 ” General Atomics has hired Robert Peterkin, a former chief scientist for directed energy at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s New Mexico campus, as operations director for the contractor’s Albuquerque facility, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.
The company said Friday Peterkin will work specifically within the General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems organization and coordinate the execution of technology strategies for directed energy, space systems and pulsed power.
