TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 16, 2018 BAE Systems has teamed with Iveco Defence Vehicles on a proposal to build the U.S. Marine Corps‘ amphibious combat vehicles following an engineering and manufacturing development phase, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
BAE said Jan. 9 the team’s offering for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle 1.1 program is designed to bolster survivability, mobility and transport capacity for ACVs as the Marine Corps is anticipated to move toward low-rate initial production by June.
