TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 11, 2018 AT&T (NYSE: T) is testing a technology platform that will work to support organizations in the remote monitoring of roads, railways and other infrastructure as part of smart city initiatives, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the AT&T Smart Cities Structure Monitoring offering includes LTE-enabled sensors to measure structural and environmental factors like cracks, as well as alert triggers and email alerts to deliver notifications on significant concerns.
