General Atomics to Deliver Capacitors for DoD Checkpoint Vehicle Stopper


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 5, 2018 — A General Atomics business unit will provide high-energy density capacitors for a Defense Department program that utilizes a Pre-Emplaced Vehicle Stopper in support of force protection and checkpoint operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems will supply the capacitors to help the DoD Ordnance Technology Consortium’s Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate as it works to deploy the non-lethal vehicle stopper.
