Leidos Lands Navy Contract for Continued Support on Signature Silencing Program


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 4, 2018 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will continue its support for a U.S. Navy acoustic signature silencing program based in Alaska under a potential $42 million contract from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the contract expands its existing work with the Southeast Alaska Acoustic Measurement Facility, including logistics, program management, maintenance and operations support for signature silencing efforts on naval ships and undersea systems.
