TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 3, 2018 AT&T (NYSE: T) and the First Responder Network Authority have unveiled that 50 U.S. states, two territories and Washington, D.C., have opted in for the deployment of a national public safety broadband network, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Friday the FirstNet network will serve to facilitate communications for public safety personnel in a dedicated platform, and that opt-in/opt-out decisions for the three U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam and Northern Marianas Islands are due in March.
