TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 21, 2017 AT&T (NYSE: T) will offer mobility platforms and services to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps in support of their modernization efforts through the company’s position on a potential $993.5 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Dec. 14 it will vie for work to deliver connectivity and communications technologies such as fleet or asset management and Smart Base tools to the Navy and Marines as the service branches push to transform their operations.
“This contract underscores the U.S. Navys commitment to modernize its forces,” said Mike Leff, vice president for the defense business within AT&T’s public sector unit.
