TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 19, 2017 Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has completed the integration of a satellite navigation payload that Harris (NYSE: HRS) built for the U.S. Air Force‘s fourth GPS III space vehicle, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
Harris said Friday it will deliver four more payloads in 2018 out of the 10 that Lockheed ordered for the GPS III satellites, with the payloads featuring digital Mission Data Units and other features that work to increase satellite lifespan, signal power and jamming resistance.
