TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 30, 2017 CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) helped update a computing platform of the National Institutes of Health that recently gained recognition as one of the world’s fastest supercomputers, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.
The company said Monday the Biowulf cluster was ranked No. 66 in the 2017 list released by the Top500 project and is the first health and biomedical research supercomputer to be included.
Kamal Narang, head of the federal health group at CSRA, said the company’s high-performance computing professionals worked with NIH to provide the capability to support the agency’s research.
