TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 30, 2017 ” Boeing (NYSE: BA) veteran Craig Cooning has been named a board member at satellite communications technology firm BridgeSat amid the latter’s effort to develop an advanced optical communications network, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
BridgeSat said Tuesday the addition of Cooning to the board of directors comes as it is working on a ground-based optical network to serve low-Earth-orbit and geosynchronous-Earth-orbit satellite customers in the commercial sector.
