TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 30, 2017 General Atomics will collaborate with the University of Mississippi to develop acoustic-based navigation and sensing technologies that will work to support unmanned underwater vehicle platform systems for deep-sea missions, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The university said Thursday the partnership involves General Atomics’ electromagnetic systems unit occupying offices and laboratories at the UM campus beginning Nov. 1 in support of Defense Department operations.
