TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 20, 2017 L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) is eyeing a potential sale of up to 1,800 upgrade kits for the U.S. Army‘s AN/PSS-14 mine detection technology to address the service branch’s requirements for maintainability, performance, reliability and sustainment, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The Army said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday that it plans to update its mine detection capability and tap L3 for the supply of the kits to convert AN/PSS-14 into the AN/PSS-14C configuration.
