TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 10, 2017 Siemens has awarded a $246 million grant comprised of its product lifecycle management software to the Florida Institute of Technology in efforts to promote science, technology, engineering and math careers, GovCon Executive reported Monday.
Florida Tech said Thursday the technology grant aims to enable the university to deliver hands-on learning experiences to students using Siemens’ Simcenter, NX, Teamcenter and Tecnomatix PLM software, which companies in the aerospace, shipbuilding and other industries have previously deployed.
