Robin Portman
Robin Portman, a Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) veteran, has joined Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm Atlas Research as president and CEO.
Portman will oversee daily operations, service delivery and business development initiatives in support of Atlas Researchs efforts to strengthen its presence in the government services sector, the company said Tuesday.
She will also serve as an ex officio member of Atlas Research’s board of directors.
Portman has proven government services industry experience, a track record of building high-performing business development organizations, and, importantly, an appreciation for Atlas unique strengths and culture, Ryung Suh, Atlas Research co-founder and chairman of the board of directors.
Prior to Atlas, Portman previously served as an adjunct professor and director of strategic innovation group at Georgetown Universitys School of Nursing and Health Studies.
She spent more than two decades at Booz Allen, where she held the roles of executive vice president and chief growth officer.
Portman is a member of several Washington-based nonprofit organizations such as Psych Armor Institute, Service Source, University of Marylands College Park Foundation, Easter Seals and Elizabeth Dole Foundation.
