TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 29, 2017 Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will develop a consolidated information technology marketplace for the state of Virginia under a potential $272 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 22.
The company said Sept. 21 the contract has a base value of $165 million and covers work as a multisourcing service integrator to help the Virginia Information Technologies Agency in efforts to drive the state’s IT infrastructure modernization.
Bob Genter, senior vice president of SAICs federal civilian customer group, said the IT service and technology procurement platform will facilitate oversight of IT projects.
