TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 29, 2017 ” Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will develop a consolidated information technology marketplace for the state of Virginia under a potential $272 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 22.
The company said Sept. 21 the contract has a base value of $165 million and covers work as a multisourcing service integrator to help the Virginia Information Technologies Agency in efforts to drive the state’s IT infrastructure modernization.
Bob Genter, senior vice president of SAIC™s federal civilian customer group, said the IT service and technology procurement platform will facilitate oversight of IT projects.
