TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 27, 2017 Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) business in Australia has utilized virtual reality and simulation technology to build a training platform for NASA‘s future CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The company said Tuesday the trainer is part of its space research and development efforts outside the U.S. and will supplement the physical Starliner simulator as Boeing Australia works with Melbourne-based VR firm Opaque Space to deliver training scenarios for the spacecraft.
