TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 22, 2017 ” Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) will provide technical, engineering, operational, development, modernization and other services in support of the U.S. Navy‘s Gerald R. Ford-class and Nimitz-class aircraft carriers as part of contract options worth $27.5 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday the options also cover the delivery of materials, spares, repair parts and test equipment as well as command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance updates for the carriers.
