Cameron Chehreh
TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 19, 2017 Cameron Chehreh, chief technology officer of Dell EMCs federal business, has said the federal government should work to centralize non-mission-critical information technology systems in order to reduce the network attack surface, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 12.
MeriTalk reported Sept. 11 that Chehreh noted the need for shared services in efforts to establish a common network as well as facilitate greater control over agencies’ cybersecurity.
“Simplification of the network not only eases the shift toward shared services but it also creates better network situational awareness,” he said in the report.
