TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 31, 2017 Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) has elected long-time board member Narendra Gupta, managing director of investment firm Nexus Venture Partners, as chairman of the board of directors and successor to H. Hugh Shelton, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
The open source software company said Tuesday Gupta, who joined the board in 2005 and has most recently served on the compensation committee, will take over the chairmanship following Shelton’s retirement.
