TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 24, 2017 Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and the Computing Technology Industry Association have teamed to offer information technology training to military service members transitioning to civilian life, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
CompTIA said Tuesday the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy will accept the organization’s Network+ and Security+ skills certifications as prerequisites to an 18-week training program that aims to prepare veterans for civilian IT careers with Microsoft or its more than 200 partners.
