BAE Systems Introduces Multiple-Object Radar Tracking Tech for Military Ranges; Mark Keeler Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 15, 2017 — BAE Systems has released a radar tracking system that will work to deliver time, space and location information on multiple in-flight objects and support complex test and evaluation scenarios at military ranges, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Aug. 8 the iMOTR platform utilizes an X-band or C-band active electronically scanned array antenna and features a clutter suppression function to drive precision in flight-path tracking as well as an information-sharing function to enable real-time data exchanges with other radars and sensors.

“The successful design of iMOTR leveraged industry advances in performance, availability and affordability for both hardware and software,” said Mark Keeler, acting president of BAE’s intelligence and security sector.
