TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 10, 2017 Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) has worked with NASA to perform a preliminary design review of the Landsat 9 mapping satellite that will work to capture space-based images of the Earth’s surface for both the space agency and the U.S. Geological Survey, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the team completed the review at a facility in Gilbert, Arizona, which served to verify the satellite’s capability to meet system and schedule requirements.
