TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 8, 2017 ” BAE Systems aims to help the U.K. navy address energy concerns with a future combined heat and power plant at Portsmouth Naval Base that could generate annual energy savings worth approximately $5 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Friday the CHP facility will work to recycle energy and reduce carbon footprint as well as meet electrical needs at the naval base for the arrival of the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers.
