TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 1, 2017 ” Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM) has scheduled the launch of the third batch of Iridium Next satellites aboard a SpaceXFalcon 9 rocket on Sept. 30 to bring the in-orbit constellation to 30 units, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The future 10-satellite launch, with a backup schedule on Oct. 1, is in line with the plan to complete the Iridium Next constellation in space by mid-2018, Iridium said Friday.
