TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 24, 2017 IBM (NYSE: IBM) will provide free consulting services on public safety, immigration, economic development and affordable housing to five municipalities around the world in efforts to advance the Smarter Cities Challenge program, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
The company said Thursday it awarded the consultative engagement grants to San Jose in California, Busan in South Korea, San Isidro in Argentina, Yamagata City in Japan and Palermo in Italy to help identify and address challenges using technology such as the Watson cognitive analytics platform.
