TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 12, 2017 The buildout plan that AT&T (NYSE: T) and the First Responder Network Authority developed for the FirstNet nationwide public safety broadband network has secured its first customer after the Virginia state government joined the program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
AT&T said Monday Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe signed an agreement to opt-in to the first responder network that the company will help build, operate and maintain in support of emergency communications for the public safety community.
