TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 5, 2017 Stacy Schwartz, vice president of public safety within AT&T‘s (NYSE: T) government solutions business, has said in an interview she believes diversity in points of view and in the workforce serves to bring competitive advantage to the company, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
She told Federal News Radio in the Women of Washington interview published June 27 that she has worked to build a team with different backgrounds in efforts to leverage diversity, particularly at the executive level, to support customers and their mission.
“We needed new thinking,” Schwartz said.
“Were in technology… We needed folks that had different viewpoints on how to use technology and how to develop solutions.”
