TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 29, 2017 A team comprised of Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and AT&T (NYSE: T) will help the Defense Information Systems Agency transform the Defense Department‘s network infrastructure into a software-defined network, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
“Software-defined networking is changing how enterprises connect and conduct their business,” said Anthony Robbins, vice president of the defense segment at AT&Ts global public sector arm.
Leidos said Monday the team will work to automate virtual private networking services and deploy SDN controller technology to update the Department of Defense Information Network under a task order from DISA.
