Randall Wotring, president of AECOM‘s (NYSE: ACM) technical and operational services business, has been promoted to chief operating officer at the Los Angeles-based engineering services contractor in a move that takes effect July 1.
He will succeed Stephen Kadenacy, who will step down as COO and president of AECOM after a 10-year career there, the company said Wednesday.
Wotring was appointed to his current position in September 2016 after he served as president of AECOM’s management services segment.
He has helped expand the firm’s work with the departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Energy as well as led the integration of its government support, cybersecurity and nuclear decommissioning service offerings.
Wotring joined AECOM in October 2014 through its acquisition of URS Corp., where he previously served as head of federal services business.
