TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 21, 2017 Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) will provide its SGI 8600 liquid-cooled petascale platform and Enhanced Hypercube system topology in a partnership with Mellanox Technologies to expand a supercomputer at NASA‘s Ames Research Center, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Mellanox said Monday its EDR InfiniBand and in-network computing technology together with HPE’s offerings will work to deliver next-generation interconnect and processor capability to Ames’ Electra supercomputer.
