TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 8, 2017 Boeing (NYSE: BA) will deliver portable trainers for P-8A Poseidon aircrew and operators so that the U.S. Navy can train relevant personnel while deployed overseas, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday the Navy awarded a contract for seven Deployable Mission Readiness Trainers that feature the sonobuoy and ocean acoustics modeling functions of the Boeing-built Weapons Tactics Trainer system for delivery beginning 2019.
