TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2017 Carl De Groote, senior director for Defense Department programs at Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO), has said the company is working to help DoD transition the Joint Regional Security Stacks to the cloud and update other information technology infrastructure, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.
Defense Systems reported Thursday Cisco’s other efforts with DoD focus on the adoption of common standards architecture and technologies such as artificial intelligence to drive efforts in computer automation and data security.
“We are ready to help them in the spirit of the [Joint Information Environment] to standardize and automate so they can reduce the overall complexity of delivering IT applications,” De Groote said, according to the report.
