TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2017 Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has unveiled the first Japan-assembled F-35A fighter aircraft during a ceremony held at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries-run F-35 final assembly and check out facility in Nagoya, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
The aircraft is the first of 38 F-35As that will roll out of the FACO facility as part of a 42-unit order from the Japanese government, with the first four produced in Fort Worth, Lockheed said Monday.
