TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 19, 2017 Steve Harris, vice president and general manager of Dell EMC‘s federal business, has said he believes integrated hybrid cloud platforms will be a spending priority for federal agencies over the next three years in line with IT modernization efforts, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
“[Federal] CIOs should establish a strong framework to enable digital transformation,” Harris, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, told MeriTalk in an interview published Wednesday.
He said an IT asset inventory and collaboration between IT teams and other mission functions are essential for federal CIOs to drive modernization.
