TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 12, 2017 James Reagan, chief financial officer of Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has expressed a positive outlook regarding federal spending following the approval of the $1 trillion fiscal 2017 omnibus budget, which includes a $21 billion increase for defense, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
“Where we see the money in the budget falling makes us feel confident about the outlook for where funding sources are and where thats going to be spent relative to the priorities of the government,” Reagan, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, said at the 12th Annual Industrial Growth Conference.
He also indicated similar concerns as Leidos CEO Roger Krone, also a 2017 Wash100 inductee, regarding the potential impact of delays in government agency leadership appointments to procurement programs.
