Peter Fuller, president and chief operating officer of Cypress International and a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army, has joined Mission Ready Services as chairman of the board of directors.
The retired Army major general succeeds Rod Reum, who resigned from the chairman post and will retain his duties as a director of Mission Ready, the company said Monday.
Fuller’s military career has included roles such as deputy commander for support at NATO Mission Afghanistan and as a senior procurement official at the Army’s Program Executive Office Soldier.
He also served as deputy commanding general of the Army’s Research, Development and Engineering Center, where he managed technology development efforts of eight government R&D centers.
Mission Ready CEO Jeff Schwartz will serve in the additional role of president.
Schwartz assumed the CEO role in March as part of a reorganization strategy for the company to focus efforts on personal protective products and cold weather gear offerings.
Mission Ready made the executive leadership changes seven months after its PTF Manufacturing division acquired the armor business manufacturing assets of ForceOne.
