TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 27, 2017 Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) has entered into a research and development partnership with Carnegie Mellon University to deliver analytics and immersive technologies to government, businesses and consumers as part of a $4.12 million program, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The company said Monday the Intel Science and Technology Center for Visual Cloud Systems aims to drive the adoption of cloud as a platform to process online video content in efforts to build on user experience and networking capabilities and facilitate the development of immersive media such as virtual and augmented reality.
